NGV’s Weeping Woman theft, thirty years on

Originally broadcast on Panorama (SYN 90.7fm).

On the 4th of August 1986, the then freshly acquired Weeping Woman – one of Picasso’s most famous pieces – was stolen from the National Gallery of Victoria. It was returned 16 days later. 30 years on, the culprits are still unknown.
